Owners Bassel Balouk and his wife, Chef Amal Zalzaleh, originally from Syria, love making traditional middle eastern food and sharing it with others. Fourteen years ago at a dinner party, their friend absolutely loved Amal's falafel and suggested they open a restaurant and sell her delicious food. This sparked an idea, and thus Cham-Ya Catering was born!

Cham-Ya is a family owned full-service catering company that specializes in Middle Eastern food using special home style recipes. Cham-Ya has many years of experience in catering large scale events such as weddings, anniversary parties, graduation parties, engagement parties, funerals, corporate events, festival events, etc. Cham-Ya is focused on providing its customers and their guests a taste of the Middle East!
